Carrollton Badminton Center is a 9-court premier badminton facility located in the city of Carrollton, Texas.  We strive to provide a platform for further promotion and growth of badminton in the Farmers Branch and Addison areas in Texas. Our Center provides excellent service, innovative training, and a welcoming environment for all players.

Carrollton Badminton Center provides high-quality training programs in a family-friendly atmosphere that nurtures personality development. Together with Plano Badminton Center, DFW Badminton Center, McKinney Badminton Center, and Lewisville Badminton Center, we are proud to say that under our professional coaching staff, we have produced several junior players who perform well nationally in the USA. Our team cares about its students. Through positive reinforcement, they motivate students to achieve personal excellence.

We currently have 5 convenient locations (in Plano, Irving, McKinney, Carrollton, and Lewisville) with a total of 69 badminton courts, serving both recreational and competitive badminton players. We also host tournaments, umpire seminars, corporate events, and private parties.

Gym Regulations

Safety is a priority for the people who play at Carrollton-BC

• Don’t touch any of the electrical panels.
• Except for taking lessons, kids under the age of 12 must be accompanied by parents in the gym.
• The students taking lessons must be picked up by their parents to leave the gym.
• Wear clean and non-marking badminton shoes.

Use the court rotation system to manage the schedule to play

• Must check in with the Front Desk when you enter the gym.
• You must wait for your turn to check in
• Use the provided manual board system (or computer if available) to sign your name into the waiting list for the courts.
• Must not list your name more than once in the waiting list
• Each turn is limited to 20 minutes or two of 21-point games when some players are shown on the waiting list.
• Must Be Fair and Courteous to the other players who are waiting to play
• Must Remember this is a family-friendly facility and you come to have fun
• Respect our rules as you want others to respect your rules in your house

Challenge court (when assigned)

• When playing in the assigned Challenge court, the winner will stay until losing or taking a break.
• One game is for 21 points.
• Challenge games can be played single, double, or mixed double.

Keep the gym clean for practice

• Always wear clean-marking badminton shoes.
• Wear proper sports/gym clothes.
• Must put your used birdies into the provided birdie box.
• Must put the trash you produce into trash cans.
• Clean after yourself and set a good example

Please note that Unauthorized Private Lessons are prohibited.

APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR:

• Only non-marking shoes are allowed on the court.
• Ensure shoes are clean and dry before stepping onto the court.

PROPER ATTIRE:

• Wear clean sportswear suitable for badminton.
• Avoid heavily scented products to ensure a pleasant environment for all participants.

COURT MAINTENANCE:

• Dispose of used shuttlecocks, water bottles, and any other trash in designated bins immediately after use.
• Personal belongings, such as towels and bags, should be kept off the playing area in the provided storage spaces.

FOOD AND DRINKS:

• No food or any colored drinks are allowed in the area without a cover.
• Drinks must be in spill-proof containers and kept off the playing surface.
• Clean up any spills immediately to prevent accidents and maintain court integrity.

SWEAT MANAGEMENT:

• Bring a towel to manage sweat and avoid dripping onto the court.
• Wipe off sweat during breaks to keep the court dry and safe.
• Use wristbands or sweatbands to minimize sweat on the court surface.

POST-MATCH CLEAN UP :

• After your match, collect all personal items and dispose of any waste properly.
• Ensure the court is clean and ready for the next match.

RESTROOMS AND CHANGING AREAS:

• Use restrooms and changing facilities responsibly.
• Dispose of trash in appropriate bins and avoid leaving personal items behind.

REPORTING ISSUES :

• Inform court staff immediately if you notice any spills, litter, or damage to the court.

PENALTIES AND FINES:

• First Offense: Warning and a $25 fine.
• Second Offense: Meet with management and pay a $50 fine.
• Third Offense: Suspended from court and a $100 fine.
• Playing with marking shoes will be fine $200.
