We offer several types of memberships to suit different needs:

  • Individual Membership

7. What is the cancellation policy for memberships?
Memberships can be canceled at any time, but please note that we require 30 days written notice for cancellations. Refunds are not typically issued for partial months. Please refer to our membership terms for full details.

 

8. Can I place my membership on hold?
Yes, we offer the option to place your membership on hold for up to two (2) months in a calendar year. A $10 administrative fee will apply. This is ideal for members who may be traveling or unable to play for an extended period. We don’t provide hold for Annual Membership.

 

9. How do I reserve a court as a member?
Members can reserve courts online through our member portal, by email (bulk reserve only), or in person at the front desk. Reservations can typically be made anytime. Please also note that cancellation must be done at least 72 hours before the schedule.

 

10. Are there any exclusive events for members?
Yes, we host a variety of member-only events throughout the year, including tournaments, social mixers, open houses, etc. Members will receive notifications about these events via email or through our member portal.

 

11. Do you offer any discounts for memberships?
We occasionally offer promotional discounts or incentives for new members. Additionally, some corporate partners may receive special rates. Please periodically check our website for any current offers or eligibility for discounts.

 

12. Can I transfer my membership to someone else?
Memberships are generally non-transferable. However, in special circumstances, such as relocation, exceptions may be considered. Please contact our membership services for more information.

 

13. How do I renew my membership?
For members on a monthly plan, your membership will automatically renew through our automatic payment system. If you are on an annual plan or need to renew manually, you can do so online through our customer service by email or at the front desk. Badminton Open Play offers an opportunity for players of all skill levels to enjoy unstructured, casual games. It’s a great way to practice, meet other badminton enthusiasts, and have fun in a social setting.

 

2. Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own rackets and shuttlecocks. However, we do have a limited number of rackets and shuttlecocks available for rent or purchase at the front desk.

 

3. What are the age requirements for Badminton Open Play?
Open Play is generally available to participants of all ages, but some sessions may be designated for specific age groups or skill levels. Please check our schedule or contact us for details.

5. Do I need to register in advance?
Pre-registration is not typically required for Badminton Open Play. However, due to court availability, it’s recommended to check in advance or arrive early to ensure a spot.

 

6. What is the cost for Badminton Open Play?
The cost for Badminton Open Play are $11+tax (Adult) and $8.5+tax (Junior) per visit. Members are FREE!

 

7. Are there any rules or guidelines I should follow?
Yes, to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone:

  • Respect other players and take turns on the court.
  • Follow the rotation system if the courts are full.
  • Play at a level that accommodates all participants.
  • Use proper badminton etiquette and sportsmanship.

 

8. Can I play singles or doubles during Open Play?
Both singles and doubles play are allowed. Depending on court availability and the number of participants, you may be asked to play doubles to maximize participation.

 

9. Is there a time limit for court use?
If the courts are busy, we may implement a rotation system with time limits to ensure everyone gets a chance to play. Typically, matches are limited to 10-15 minutes when others are waiting.

 

10. What should I wear for Badminton Open Play?
Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and non-marking indoor court shoes to protect the playing surface.

 

11. Can I bring guests?
Yes, guests are welcome to join Open Play sessions. Non-members will be required to pay the session fee, and they must adhere to all facility rules and guidelines.

 

12. What if all the courts are full when I arrive?
If all courts are occupied, you can add your name to the waitlist for the next available court. We encourage you to check our schedule for less busy times, or consider arriving early to secure a spot.

 

13. Do you offer coaching or lessons during Open Play?
Open Play is intended for casual, self-directed play. If you’re interested in coaching or lessons, please check our training program for dedicated class type or inquire about private lessons with one of our coaches.

 

14. Can I reserve a court during Open Play?
Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis during Open Play. If you need a guaranteed court time, we recommend booking a court outside of Open Play hours.
